Role Descriptions
First Year Representative: [This position will no longer accept further applications]
Education Director:
The education director is in charge of leading the education subcommittee in creating and delivering initiatives and events that aim to increase student exposure to international opportunities in both study and work. This includes (but is not limited to) organising our bi-annual Endeavour (student exchange) workshop.
It is also preferable that applicants for the position of Education Director have undertake oversea exchange and is experienced with the Endeavour platform.
Marketing Director:
You will be directly assisting the Executive Team and other Directors with generating promotional material for the society and activities organised by the club. You will also be responsible for maintaining the social media pages and will need a working knowledge of Photoshop, Canva or equivalent. Most importantly, you will have your own personal vision for potential Marketing activities, to help Com(Int)Soc reach new heights.
Publications Director:
Is a crucial role in maintaining the image of the society, working closely with the Marketing Director. You will be responsible for managing and updating the society website. You will also be working with your subcommittee to publish posts for our society blog centred around exchange, travel and the university experience (https://comintsoc.com/category/travel/).
In addition, you will design pamphlets, brochures, posters or slide decks for our society events. Experience with Wordpress and Photoshop, Canva, or any other design app would be advantageous.
Activities Director:
The Activities Director is a newly created role at the Commerce (International) Society. The responsibilities of the Director include:
- Aid the Vice President (Activities) in the generation of ideas for social activities;
- Assist the Vice President (Activities) in the planning, organising, and facilitation of social events and initiatives;
- Organising and lead the subcommittee of the Activities Portfolio along with the Vice President (Activities).
External Director:
The External Director is a newly created role at the Commerce (International) Society. The responsibilities of the Director include:
- Aid the Vice President (External) in the generation of ideas for activities and events that involve industry partners or external stakeholders;
- Assist the Vice President (External) in the composition and publication of the annual Partnership Proposal;
- Organise and lead the subcommittee of the External Portfolio along with the Vice President (External).
Internal Director:
The Internal Director is a newly created role at the Commerce (International) Society. The responsibilities of the Director include:
- Aid the Vice President (Internal) in the generation of ideas for activities and events for the Executive team, Directors, and Subcommittees;
- Assist the Vice President (Internal) in the planning, organising, and facilitation of internal events and activities;
- Assist the Vice President (Internal) in implementing the Peer Mentoring program and matters relating to Human Resources if necessary;
- Organise and lead the subcommittee of the Internal Portfolio along with the Vice President (Internal).
