Thank you for your interest in joining the UNIT committee in Semester 2, 2021.

There are 3 roles available within the committee.
General Committee: Involve yourself in event planning, marketing, publications and sponsorship while being a part of a leading FBE-affiliated university student club.
Research Analyst: Fulfill the role of a General Committee member while researching and providing engaging economic and financial content published on the UNIT UoM website, unitunimelb.org.

In 2021, UNIT has introduced the new subcommittee role. This role is open to first-year students only.
Subcommittee: Tailored towards first-year students, the subcommittee role allows new students to undertake tasks to explore all areas of interest within UNIT.
Subcommittee will have the opportunity to move into General Committee and Research Analyst roles at UNIT in their second semester at the University.


It is expected all current students of the committee will attend fortnightly general meetings hosted in Semester 2.


Applications will close at 10PM on Friday, 13th August AEST.

Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Within a few days after close of applications, initial outcomes will be made known to all applicants and you may be invited to an interview.

Interviews will be conducted by a panel of 2-4 committee members virtually online during the following dates:
Tuesday to Thursday, 17-19 August

All outcomes will be finalised and made known to applicants by Friday, the 20th of August. Onboarding will begin within the next few days.
